6-strand Hairband Braid

final night time I attempted creating a 5-strand braid, which constructed up my self belief enough to try a 6-strand braid.  I liked how it grew to become out so much that this morning I made a hairband braid with 6-strands.  I simply accumulated the decrease section of my hair, banded it together with an elastic, then made the 6-strand braid.  after I had reached approximately as far as I could effortlessly go, I tied the cease of my braid off with any other elastic.  I positioned the relaxation of my hair into a ponytail and wrapped my 6-strand braid round it like a hairband.  My bun is two sections loosely twisted together like a rope braid, held in place with bobby pins.  i would twist a little bit, stop and pin that section in region, then twist a few greater, etc...until the bun turned into finished.  I blanketed the 2 elastics with a butterfly clip, and turned into geared up to go out the door!

A secret to creating a 6-strand braid: suppose over, below, over, below, over.  additionally, it helps in case you start off with your hair in a ponytail.  This makes it less complicated to preserve the strands separate.
